My Journey in art

My journey in art began in childhood, inspired by a deep passion for visual arts. Since an early age, I explored techniques such as graphite, charcoal, watercolor, and ink. This fascination led me to study oil painting, which soon became my greatest artistic passion.

At 15 years old, I enrolled in an oil painting course at a renowned artist’s studio. That was the moment when paint and colors truly captured my heart.

By 18, seeking to refine my skills in figurative painting, I joined the School of Fine Arts at UFRJ. However, my academic journey was cut short for two key reasons: first, I realized that hyperrealism was my true passion, something that was not the primary focus of my degree. Second, I faced a deep personal loss with the passing of my father, my greatest supporter in the arts.

Throughout My Journey in Art, I have dedicated myself to mastering hyperrealism, learning from great masters such as Michelangelo, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. This path led me to teach and inspire thousands of students worldwide, sharing my passion and knowledge of oil painting.

In 2019, I launched an online project, hosting weekly oil painting live sessions on YouTube. The response was overwhelming! As more people sought in-depth learning, I created my first online course: Código da Pintura (The Painting Code).

By 2021, after impacting over 700 students and reaching thousands of viewers through free YouTube tutorials, I faced personal struggles that nearly led me to abandon my artistic career. However, a profound journey of self-discovery and resilience helped me regain my focus and recommit to my mission: teaching and inspiring artists worldwide.

Today, I am dedicated to sharing my techniques and creative vision with as many people as possible.
